Abductor  muscle of little toe largely arises from the lateral process of the tuberosity of the calcaneus,  starts from the bottom surface of the calcaneus between the two processes of the tuberosity, to the front of the internal process of the plantar fascia, and intermuscular septum lying between it and the Flexor digitorum brevis of the foot.
