The fibers of the abductor  hallucis muscle of the foot end in a tendon. Is inserted, along with half of the flexor tendon brevis; On the side of the tibia at the base of the first phalanx of the toe.     Variations of abductor  toe     The abductor  hallucis muscle of the foot is off the base of the first phalanx of second toe in some cases.
