CHAPTER VIII Partial loss Section 1748 .- The partial loss of the insured object, which is the effect of risk covered by insurance and constitute general average, particular average will. Not be considered failures of this kind of private expenses, that is, which may be incurred by the insured in their name or on their own, to preserve the secured object or to ensure the safety of him and do not constitute salvage charges. Section 1749 .- The salvage charges incurred to avoid a loss by reason of perils covered by insurance, may be claimed as lost by such risks.   Section 1750 .- In the absence of a stipulation, the insurer is not liable for the damage caused by a common danger is not covered by insurance.
