MENTAL AND BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS 2.1 GENERAL This chapter has been prepared based on the fifth chapter of the Tenth International Classification of Diseases (ICD - 10) and fourth version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders American Psychiatric Society (DSM IV) . In ICD-10 are proposed either 11 groups of mental disorders, the DSM IV, in turn, these groups of disorders located in two different axes of multiaxial classification: the pictures or Axis I clinical syndromes and Axis II personality disorders and mental retardation.
